Public hospitals' ability to ban open carry was added to the bill by Representative Gaetz, presumably to make it more palatable to the RINO's in the Senate.
Representatives voted themselves the ability to carry concealed inside the General Assembly. Nice touch for them, but what about us "mere citizens" who are licensed to carry? Hypocrites much?

Florida needs to pass open carry of holstered pistols. It clearly falls within the purview of Second Amendment Rights.
Citizens deserve to right to carry as they choose to keep themselves and their families safe from criminals.
Florida Democrats have proposed at least 20 amendments to gut the bill. Everything from removing open carry from the open carry bill, to an amendment that adds magazine restrictions for those that hold more than 10 rounds.
That should tell you what Democrats think about the Second Amendment. They are doing everything they can to derail liberty. They are the modern day British in the American "Colonies".
Let 1776 freedom ring, and kick their butts to the curb!
